Yay babies! I finally get to tell you what I did all day Friday (sorry I missed book club, ladies!). Beth‘s baby shower in Dallas was Saturday, so I spent Friday making the favors and my gift for her and her baby boy Jude. The favors were seed packets with forget-me-not seeds. They started out as a template that I printed at home and a thousand little seeds in baggies….
And ended up like this! I was really happy with the way they ended up. And all of the guests will have beautiful blue flowers blooming when Jude is born.
I also sewed some gifts up. I made some burp cloths, a cube tag toy that had no pattern, and some Winnie the Pooh baby booties. I can’t believe how small they are! What little feet he will have!
We had a good time at the shower and I enjoyed helping plan the party. Can’t wait until he’s here!

Thanks so much for everything Jenn! I loved the tag toy, the booties, burp clothes (which fit perfectly on your shoulder – why don’t they sell them that way?) and the onesie! My mom really enjoyed getting to work with you in planning everything and she’s already planted the forget me not seeds (I really loved that idea for a favor). He’ll be here before we know it!

Jenn… I love the burp cloths and shoes! Can’t believe you sewed them. You are really good at that stuff, wish you had learned all of that before Braden came around. =) Looks like the shower was a great success.

@elizabethcarroll – I knew you would like it! I wanted something that wouldn’t just get thrown away like some favors end up, and this even will make everyone’s house happy with flowers. :) I have yet to plant mine; hopefully I’ll get around to it this weekend.
@Wren – Thanks! I wish I sewed when Braden came too! You’ll have to remind me when his birthday is coming up and I’ll make him something. :)
