Hi everyone, and welcome to the first month of the Cider Mill Block of the Month! I’m so excited to get started with you!
For this month’s block, Block 10, you will need four colors: dark green, medium green, mint green, and white.
First, you’ll want to cut out your squares as described in the pattern. If you have a strip ruler like the June Tailor or Stripology, this can speed up the process for you!
Lay out the smaller squares as shown in the pattern and sew together, first sewing rows together and pressing seams open. Make sure to use a scant 1/4″ seam when sewing every month.
Then lay out the full block and sew together, first sewing rows together and pressing seams open:
And there you go! Your first block of the BOM is complete. Save your scraps for the rest of the BOM! See you next month!
